Algerian players ready to take on the challenge in the African Cup of Nations

The Head of the Algerian Football Federation, Mohammed Raouraoua was very optimistic concerning the possibility of clinching the African trophy by the Algeria squad in the upcoming competition that will start tomorrow in Angola.

• Mohammed Raouraoua compared the Algerian players’ state of mind to that was prevailing before the play off match in Oum Darman, Sudan versus Egypt” The players are looking forward to mark their passage in this tournament , everybody is determined to make a good showing during this tournament.. This makes me confident as to the Algeria squad participation and we are looking forward to win the trophy for the second time in the Algerian football history”.

• M Raouraoua has further indicated that the Algerian federation has given all the means to achieve long awaited goal.

• He also indicated that the players’ concentration is on top “ The players are immersed in the competition after reaching a consensus over the concerns expressed during the training camp in southern France”. He went on saying “ Now that we have fulfilled the goal to reach the World Cup, it remains to honor the country in the African Cup of Nations”.
