Algerian president Bouteflika orders the High Education Minister to apply LMD sytem

Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika ordered his government to apply the system of LMD in the Algerian univercities, and asked the High Education Minister, Rachid Heraoubia, to continue this system’s application rigorously, which is a clear and explicit confirmation by Bouteflika, that no retreat must happen.

• It is noteworthy that this system begun five years ago in a some Algerian univercities as an experimental stage, and it has been expanded to other univercities nowadays, but the ministry of high education did not circulate it to all univercities, despite the passage of five years, because of the opposition by some univercity tires.
• The president Bouteflika ordered during a meeting with the higher education sector, his government to continue the strict application of this system on 13 fields currently across 49 univercities of the total 62 univercities in Algeria.
