Algerian President Bouteflika proceeds to changes on top security functions

Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is going to end the mission of eight top security officers either by sending them to retiree or assigned them another function.

• In this respect, the head of the security of the town of Bejaia was sent to retirement while the head of the security of the town of Bechar (south of Algeria) was removed denying to give further details about his situation.
• This later was formerly the head of Interpol branch here in Algeria and accounts among the best police officers in Algeria.
• Three other officers have been removed in the towns of Saida, Sidi Belaabes and Guelma.
• Both Skikda and Taref heads of security were sent to retirement.
