Algerian-Saudi Economic Relations Are Stable
Saudi-Algerian Business Council will be held tomorrow until November 17 in the Saudi capital Riyadh, to discuss the outstanding partnership files between the two countries, and search the possibility of developing new projects, as this meeting falls in the framework of the recommendations that are arising from the eighth session of the Saudi-Algerian Council that was held on March 21, 2016 in Algeria, where a delegation from the Algerian members will move to this Council, under the supervision of the Algerian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
This visit’s agenda will include the holding of the ninth session of Saudi-Algeria Business Council, in addition to the bilateral business meetings with Saudi economic dealers and their Algerian counterparts, which is considered a sign of the improved economic relations between the two countries, although they are affected by the political differences, and talk about spacing partnership because of oil disagreements in OPEC, and precedent efforts by Gulf states, at the head Arabia Saudi, to pursue a policy of dumping the market, with the production of huge amounts of black gold, and this was before a meeting of the Organization in Algeria at the end of last September, in which OPEC countries agree on organizing the production.
During the visit, the results of the meeting which was held eight months ago in Algiers Aurassi Hotel, will be assessed, where the largest Saudi businessmen are expected to attend the council, accompanied by economic officials, but their names are net yet specified, to share talks with Algerian officials and businessmen, knowing that the most important economic sectors of concern to those in Algeria are the tourism, hostelry and services, while the most prominent sectors that attract Algerian investors in the Saudi market is the first and foremost the food industry.
This meeting is described as pivotal because it will raise concerns about the Saudi legal aspect to regulate investments in Algeria, and the concerns of Algerians to invest in Saudi Arabia as well.
