Algerian security forces blew up a major terrorist cell

The Algerian military troops have eliminated 12 terrorists operating under the command of the leader Sahari Makhloufi known as “Abu Meriem” and the suicide bomber who carried the last terror attack in Tizi Ouzou, “Houdeifa”.

• Among the eliminated terrorist there are various leaders from the so called “Enour” contingent who paid allegiance to “Abdelmalek Droudkel”. This one counts among the most active terrorist groups in addition to “El Farouk” and “ Al Anssar” which operate in the region of  Boumerdes.
• According to security sources, two of the eliminated terrorists belong to the terrorist organization “ Salafit Group for call and combat”. The interior ministry Saturday revealed that the investigations carried out on the terrorists’ bodies resulted in the identification of some of these elements who belong to this terrorist organization.
