Algerian squad coach: I need some rest

The Algerian squad head coach Bosnian Wahid Halilhozic has asserted that he will be back to Algeria within 10 days from now, noting that he preferred to take some rest among his family based in France after the setback in the Africa Cup of nations tournament and the disqualification of the “desert foxes” in the first round.

Talking to Echourouk, the Bosnian coach has declared”  I came straight ahead from South Africa to Algeria and spent one day before moving to France… Actually I was exhausted especially morally in the wake of our premature disqualification.. I’d like to have some rest with my family and will be back within 10 days”.

Reliable have indicated ti Echourouk that the head coach will meet the chairman of the Algerian Football Association, Mohamed Raouraoua , who is still in South Africa to attend the final scheduled for February 10 in his quality as a member of the African Football Confederation, in order to asses the Algerian participation in this tournament.

The next match versus Benin as part of the third round of the 2014 world cup qualifiers due to take place in Tchaker stadium, Blida, will be on top of the agenda of the meeting.

Halilhozic has declined dwelling on the Algerian squad issues for the time being despite our attempts to get further details , noting that he did his utmost and worked hard during this tournament.
