Algerian squad manager inveighs against mismanagement

Despite several surprise events and difficulties encountered by the Algerian squad during its last training camp in the French capital, the Algerian coach Rabah Saadane and the head of the Algerian Football Association, Abdelhamid Hadadj fixed the date of the next gathering in Paris on May 21st, instead of taking place in the southern region of Aix En Provence.

So far, nothing has been revealed about the Algerian squad flight timetable, and whether this one would return home before moving to Senegal for its official match, or join Dakar from Paris.

For his part, M Saadane expressed his total satisfaction to the good reaction of the two “rookies” Rafik Djabbour and Fethi Haret during their first appearance under the Algerian jersey in the friendly against the Democratic Republic of Congo. Talking on radio, the Algerian coach said that he was counting too much on the forward and the defender in the future. He also complimented Freiburg’s midfielder Matmour saying that he could be a first-choice player against Senegal providing that he keeps the same enthusiasm.

M Saadane was not tender with some players and was surprised to their weak performance during the match. Even if he didn’t mention the names, every body concluded that he was pointing at Bouzid, Zarabi and Bouaaza who scarcely take part are to the matches in their respective clubs.

The Algerian coach has, on the contrary, a clear idea about the goalkeepers selected for the official matches, since Guaouaoui will be the starting goalkeeper and Chaouchi his substitute to be followed by Ousserrir .

Expressing his dissatisfaction to the inconveniences caused in the latest training camp in Paris, Rabah Saadane called on the Algerian Football Association to make an end to mismanagement and show more seriousness when dealing with organization in the future, especially the he has outlined a detailed program over the year 2008.
