Algeria will participate at the second conference of Arab women Congres from 11 to 13 November in the UAE.

•   The conference  is an opportunity to highlight the efforts made by Algeria regarding women condition. Algerian women have achieved progress as their presnec is growing important in various sectors and in different institutions.
• They are in politics, in economy and in civil society as well. Eventhough, a lot of work is to be done in order to promote the participation of women especially in rural areas where women are offered less opportunities to express themselves and develop.
• The new constitution to be voted by parliament is designed to widen opportunities for women and ease their access to political and executive positions.
• The conference will discuss “globalization and the situation of Arab women”, as well as their education and health care in the Arab world.
