Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Algeria's President

Head of the legal commission, administrative issues and freedoms at the People’s National Assembly Amar Djilali said the Charter for the National Reconciliation defined ways to care for children born in mountains during the black decade.

Speaking about missing people, Djilali told a national radio channel 15 cases out of 7,000 are still not treated.

He added that the 1990’s security crisis enabled Algeria to have the strength to reject all the extremist ideas.

“The Algerian Constitution concretized the National Reconciliation as a national choice. It has becomes a main element for the national recovery policy. After the new constitution was approved in 2016, the People’s National Assembly had started adapting a set of laws to the Constitution’s new provisions,” he also said.

He believes that the Charter for Peace and National Reconciliation in Algeria has become a modal for many countries to treat their security tension.
