Algerians to benefit from visa to Jordan for free
A plane coming from Jordanian Amman landed on Monday evening at Algiers Houari Boumediene international airport, announcing the opening of the first direct flight between the two countries, since the creation of the company and Algeria’s independence fifty years ago.
CEO for Africa and Egypt, Jihad Mehiar, said that his flight will launch two flight a week, but will add more flights as from April 1st, to reach three flights weekly, adding that the air line will serve large numbers of citizens from both countries, especially businessmen and pilgrims, and will contribute in tightening the movement of tourism and tighten economic ties between the two countries.
Mehiar explained, during a press conference in Algiers, that three flights towards Algeria were allocated on Monday from Amman at 11:15 am, to each Algeria at 15:05 pm time of Algeria, then it will return back from Algiers at 15:00 pm to land in Amman at 21:05 pm, as for Wednesday’ s flights, the plane will leave Amman at 10:30 am to land in Algiers at 13:20 pm, then it will leave Algiers at 14:15 pm to reach Amman at 20:20 pm, as the Royal Jordanian, will announce for its clients on new dates for these flights after adding its third flight to Algiers on the beginning April.
