Algeria's Insurance Market: turnover exceedes 4 billion dollars

The Algerian insurance market seems to bounce back with a fresh momentum marked by the signing of a major agreement here aimed at shoring up Algerian- French partnership and cooperation in this vital sector of activity.

The Algerian insurance market seems to bounce back with a fresh momentum marked by the signing of a major agreement here aimed at shoring up Algerian-French partnership and cooperation in this vital sector of activity.

In so doing, the national insurance company (SAA) and the leading French insurance group Macif initialled on Tuesday in Algiers a protocol agreement on a strategic partnership between the 2 sides.

On the basis of this partnership accord, the SAA  and the Macif group are envisaging to set up structures of cooperation and development which will be turned into joint subsidiaries in Algeria or in France on the basis of a mutually acceptable business plan.
