Ali Fodil honoured by Palestinian community in Algeria

Palestinian community in Algeria honoured Thursday Echorouk general manager, Ali Fodil, after the initiative he launched on Al Jazeera channel to break the Gaza blockade.   

• Palestinians also expressed their solidarity with Echorouk newspaper, represented by its general manager, after his arrest and interrogation by Scotland Yard in London.
• Mr.Ali Fodil was honoured during the ceremony organized by SIDAR company in Algiers. Many politicians, journalists, businessmen and ministers attended the ceremony. Fodil was awarded a model of Al-Aqsa mosque, to symbolize the good relationships between Palestine and Algeria.
• Echorouk General Manager, Ali Fodil thanked the Palestinian community, spoke about the Palestinian cause and called for more efforts to help Palestinians and stop the Gaza blockade.
• He stressed that Echrouk is supporting the Palestinian cause with all its means and efforts.
• “Echorouk’s unique experience made it the first newspaper in Algeria because it expresses the Algerians ambitions, defends the national values and civilization,” Senator Abdelahamid Medaoued said.
• “We must fight against the Israeli occupation ,” he added.
