Amri Chedli
In an exclusive interview with the newspaper “Echorouk”, the Algerian international footballer Amri Chedli who plays for the German second – division squad of “Meinz”, has said that he is ready to rejoin the Algeria line-up, if national Coach Rabah Saâdane calls him up, notably in expectation of the decisive match slated for June 7th in Blida stadium between Algeria and Egypt as part of the combined qualifications for the 2010 World Cup / Africa Cup of Nations competition.

Amri Chedli : Yes, fortunately I am now in good shape and I am back again with the team after a scathing injury which had driven me away from the official competition for a long time.
-
To come back to the competition, I had to strive hard in training sessions in order to be fit again and ready for action.
-
:
-
Amri Chedli : It’s true, our team’s results are not up to the mark.
-
Lastly, we were shut out in extra time in the semi-final of the German cup contest and this setback had an adverse impact on the players’ morale.
-
But, we are determined to get going strong by leaps and bounds after this mishap.
-
This is, I hope, a transient situation.
-
-
Amri Chedli : Absolutely, we secured the day before yesterday a precious victory in the championship contest.
-
This victory has boosted our chances of accession to the first – division of the Bundesliga as we are now occupying the second slot in the overall standings.

-
Amri Chedli ; After my comeback to the official competition, I have not had any contact whatsoever with the technical staff of the national squad.
-
:
-
-
Amri Chedli : Absolutely, I am yearning to be part again of the Algeria squad but it is up to the national Coach Rabah Saâdane who is in charge of the team.
-
Anyway, I am available to join the Fennecs once again if Saâdane decides to include me in the line-up
-
:
-
Amri Chedli : The Greens should imperiously win versus Egypt in order to preserve their qualification chances.
-
As far as I am concerned, I would be very delighted if I could play this decisive match against the indomitable Egyptians. Life will tell!
-
The national squad should also beware of Zambia who have the means to upset the balance as they did recently versus Egypt in Cairo.
-
So, we must be very cautious and we should not under-estimate or belittle any of our opponents throughout this qualifying round of the competition.
