Franco Algerian top scorer of the French Championship, André- Pierre Gignac spoke about the possibility of playing for the Algerian team in Monte Carlo radio station.  

  • André-Pierre Gignac, 23 year old Toulouse striker has scored 12 times in 19 games in France this season.
  • His French father and Algerian mother helped him realize his dream of becoming an international player. Now, Everton and Bolton Wanderers are chasing him. He could be sold for the right price in January.
  • “There is a possibility to play for the Algerian team and contribute to its qualification for the World Cup South Africa, because I am an Algerian too”, André Pierre Gignac said.
  • Gignac already played with Algerian international Rafik Saifi in FC Lorient 2006.
