Another Algerian struggles with death in Libyan jail

Algerian Abdelhalim Belmessaoud is struggling with death for a week as his health state remains critical after he had diabetes-related troubles in a Libyan prison.

• The prison administration did not hesitate to take him to appear before court where he had been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment on drug-related charges.

• Belmessaoud is the second Algerian prisoner who suffered from health complications in Libya after another one had died there, a few days ago.
