Ansareddine spokesman to Echorouk: “We will not attack Algeria”

There is no intention of the movement to target Algeria or Western interests in the Algerian territory, Ansareddine Movement’s spokesman, Send Ould Bouamama said, contrary to what was announced by other terrorist organizations.

Bou Amama accused, in this interview with “Echorouk”, the French President who is stood behind all the tragedies of the region.

How does Ansareddine movement consider the terrorist attack in Ain Amenas?

It is clear, for us war of the “terrorist” Hollande against our people in Mali, is the only cause of what happened in Ain Amenas, as it is well known that chaos leads to chaos, and violence leads to violence, this is the policy of France which is blowing the region so as to burn others, and this is what is happening in Algeria.

But the operation left losses among civilians and France was not heart?

We have no intention to target civilians, but Francois Hollande is targeting civilians, because he kills and slaughtered in our land, and he is leading a systematic target of innocents in Mali, as for why we are not targeting French interests, it is because we do not have planes to bomb Paris, and French interests in Mali and other Western interests, which help France to attack our people in Mali.

“Al Mouakioune Biddam” group (Blood signatories) announced announced its intention to target Algeria and the French interests. Will you do the same thing?

For us, Ansareddine Movement, has a clear war, and one enemy, and our activity scope is known, our war will be against the French enemy and its allies, and our operations will be in our land only, in Mali, therefore we will not touch the Algerian territory, nor Western interests in Algeria, opposite to what other groups are doing.

France announced being advanced in several cities, and taking control in KUNA City?

France lies, and practiced propaganda in its war against our people, the battles are still ongoing to repel any attack by the French army and its agents, and we have equipment and men to fight the French, and all the armies of the world for years.

Reverse to what you said, there is a large welcome from Malians to the French presence?

No, contrary to that, we have the support and sympathy for what we do, our goal is responding to the French attack, defending our nation and supporting the oppressed, though we were not obliged to fight, we did not raise arms.
