“Applicants for AADL 2 should not be worried,” says minister
Algerian housing minister Abdelmadjid Teboune Tuesday said applicants for AADL 2 housing program should not be worried about reply to their applications as all of them will get replies when the project is launched.
Teboune also said allocated quota for the AADL 2 program which is expected to build 230,000 houses can be raised to meet all the applications.
“The government is ready to reply all the applications regardless their number. An additional budget will be allocated for them. A total of 900,000 houses are in the process of construction. Of them, 100,000 are for the capital,” the minister told Echorouk.
“I understand people’s concerns due to their experience with the AADL 2001/2002 program. This will not happen again because means are available and construction companies are there,” he added.
Selected applicants will have to send their files via mail without fixing an appointment.
Speaking about rejected applications, people can submit pleas via mail to the housing ministry as the Secretary General and competent commissions will examine them.
