Arab Champions League: ES Setif in the Quarter-finals
Algeria ES Setif qualified for the quater final round of the Arab Champions League competition as Sudanese contender Al Hilal withdrew from the second match due to take lace in Algeria Friday.

The Arab Football Federation had informed ES Setif club Al Hilal’s request asked to postpone the match for a month because the Soudanese team faces diificulties including injury of a big number of it key players namely goolkeeper EL Moiz Mehdjoub , defender Richard Justin and midfielder Omar Bekhit.

The AFF rejected Al Hilal’s request and maintained the game schedule. The refrees and officials were sent to Algeria on time to supervise this second round between the two teams.

Ess Setif is then declared winner of the match and qualifies to the quater final of the prestigious competiton, the Algeria club has already won twice.
