Arab Champions League final: Essetif VS Wydad Casablanca

At a historic night, Algeria’s ESSetif will play the second final match in its history on a mission to maintain the Arab title. It will be a historic and unprecedented achievement in the Arab world if the squad gains the title for the second time.

The squad will deal with a decisive match Hadj Aissa’s team mates must manage it in a clever way especially that the « Eagles » are about to receive the crown from the republic president following their positive result in Morocco.

 ESSetif will be benefit from its supporters but it lost an important factor which is the field. I twill play far from its bases but close to its large number of supporters in Blida’s stadium (70 km west of Algiers).

Touil will be absent

ESSetif will play without its scorer Farid Touil as he is  injured in the cartilage.

Psychological preparation to overcome pressure

According to ESSetif’s coach Bernard Simondi, the nature of the match requires to be psychologically ready.

« The nature of the match requires clever management…We have to be careful, » he told Echorouk.

The cup will be given by Algerian Persident Abdelaziz Bouteflika. ESSetif’s players are resolved to offer it to their president as a response to the Moroccan who had a provocative behavior towards Algerians in Morocco.
