Army discovers 2 terrorist strongholds and bombs in Algeria

Two strongholds of terrorists were discovered by the Algerian Popular National Army last week in Boumerdes province (50 km east of Algiers) following a military operation in Mizrana forest.Bombs used by terrorists groups were also discovered in the two strongholds and the combing operation is still going on in the area to chase terrorists.

• Algerian Interior Ministry said 12 terrorists were killed by the army on Thursday in Tizi Ouzou province (100 km east of Algiers).
• “The military operation led to recover a considerable quantity of weapons including 7 kalachinkovs and a hand-made bomb,” said a statement issued by the ministry on Friday.
