Arrested terrorist reveals Al-Qaeda's return to suicide attacks in Algeria

Information given by an arrested terrorist helped security forces to find out a group which is believed to be suicide bombers in charge of carrying out attacks on the anniversary of the Algiers attacks on April 11, according to corroborating sources.

On the other hand, security forces still have doubts on other scenarios or other cells which are assigned to accomplish the same mission.

Earlier, a security prevention plan was adopted to foil any terrorist attempt on the first anniversary of suicide attacks which targeted the Government Palace and a police station in Algiers.

 The so-called Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb released a video tape on the Internet, two weeks ago, in which it warned of future suicide attacks.The video tape showed new recruited and possible suicide bomber’s identities.
