Attempt to smuggle warship ammunition thwarted and 12,000 bullets seized in Algerian western borders
Gaurd units of the Algerian west borders were able to thwart, for the first time since two years ogo, an attempt to smuggle a significant amount of warship ammunition of more than 12,000 bullets of various calibres, smuggled from Morocco towars the west borders of Algeria.

Investigations are still ongoing about their destination, but investigators are working on this type of issues told Echorouk that, the ammunition may be directed to networks of arms and war ammunition trading, which are coodinating with terrorist groups – according to investigations- , and they previously supported the GSPC with explosive materials, which were used in the first suicide attacks of Algiers.
