BAC 2008: easy questions in Arabic language and candidates afraid of philosophy
Candiadtes for BAC 2008.

Candidates for the BAC exams 2008 noticed that there is a radical change in the way the exam questions have been asked in Arabic language within the various specialities in both new and old systems. There were no questions about criticise, poets and writers but they all focused on their literary criticism directions, which surprised and chocked most pupils.

  • In this regard, candidates in literature consider that questions which were asked in Arabic were easy and accessible to everyone. They felt a great fear before the buzzer rung because they were all worried about the questions. After opening envelopes and distributing papers, they showed satisfaction as it was confirmed by some candidates Echorouk met through various examination centres in Algiers.
  • According to some candidates the strategy of multiple choice questions in this session enabled many to answer correctly and saved them from difficult questions.
  • In the same regard, proctors who met Echorouk outside the exams centres spoke about the candidates’ great fear in philosophy exam, which was confirmed by the candidates themselves. They believe philosophy is the most difficult subject for literary candidates whose number acceded 70 percent of the total candidates.
