Bad weather conditions blamed for deaths and property damage
Heavy rainfall that poured down Wednesday night to Thursday in the small locality of Ain Turki, Miliana (120 km south of Algiers) were blamed for the killing of 6 and injured 8 others, according to provisional estimates released by local authorities.

The victims were surprised by the flash flooding of “Guergour” river which burst its banks washing away some houses built nearby.

The same sources also talked about 20 hit- flood families living down the prairie by the mount “Zaccar”, flooded by water.
