Barons of smuggling fuel incited youngsters to launch protests west of Algeria
Barons of smuggling fuel, who operate on the western borders of Tlemcen, west of Algeria, resorted to sending letters in which they threatened officials from the security services in Tlemcen, through recruiting youngsters in order to breach the public order, inciting them to block the roads and launch strikes under the guise of protesting against unemployment and the social problems.

Security services received information about the recruitment of minors in order to involve them in these protest movements, as sources told Echorouk that the security services opened an investigation on the smuggling of fuels in Tlemcen, and that actions have been taken by the governor of the locality in order to combat trafficking, on the background of the massacres of El Ghazaouat, west of Algeria, following the closure of petrol station and preventing the trucks from moving in day times, and determining the amount of supplying the cars in the gasoline stations, actions that were accompanied by a security crackdown led by the security services in Tlemcen and Gendarmerie.    Â
