Benflis refuses to receive FLN leaders

Members of FLN’s Central Committee launched Communications with the former Secretary-General of the party, Ali Benflis, after his first appearance at Hilton Hotel, who showed reservation on the reception of leaders in the party, as reported by close sources, given the part’s delicate situation, after the emergence of opposition against Saadani, under the pretext of alliance with parties that they describe as unimportant.

Decisions that were taken by Amar Saadani, and which included his alliance with “Taj” party, resulted in the emergence of opposition against him, some of whom were behind leading the Secretariat, especially after he tried to contact the leadership of the Algerian Popular Movement to join this alliance, without receiving a positive response.

This decision has widened the opponents’ front against any alliance with parties that are not in the same level of FLN party, in terms of the struggle, as well as in terms of the history of the presence in the political arena, as they sought to contact Ali Benflis, who appeared for the first time in the funeral of the former Justice Minister Amar Ben Toumi, but he expressed unwillingness to contact leaders in the old party, especially those affiliated with the former Secretary-General Abdelaziz Belkhadem , who led the 2004 corrective movement which led to his dismissal as head of the party.
