Bensalah:”Bouteflika is more than just an FLN candidate”

Rally for National Democracy (RND), announced that it will continue supporting the President Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s candidacy for 2014 Presidential Elections, but without calling upon the President Bouteflika to run for the Fourth Term, RND’s General Secretary, Abdelkader Bensalah said on Saturday, at the popular meeting in the 1st May Square, which was attended by adherents from Central Wilayas.

“Prospects of 2014 are titled presidential elections in which RND cannot be neutral. RND party announces clearly that it supports stability and continues adherence in the reforms by President Bouteflika”, he added.

Despite the calls for supporting Bouteflika by Bensalah, but this latter did not called the President to run again, not even by mentioning the fourth term, despite the repeated calls to support Bouteflika to run for a fourth term, but Bensalah speech was cautious, as he mentioned in this context that “RND options are not just wishes and desires, but are positions and principles, therefore RND’s support remains committed to our brother Bouteflika”.

Bensalah described RND position as a “Committed position that cannot face hesitation or the unknown future”.
