Berriane returns to normalcy after days of turmoil.

The national gendarmerie the day before yesterday arrested a man involved in the looting of private properties of people who left their homes following the tragic events that rocked the city of Berriane durig the last few days.

• The investigators declined to release further details as the inquiry is still underway in order to unmask the man’s acolytes involved in the burning, and destroying the inhabitants’ properties.
• To recall, several prominent figures in the city of Berriane called for the return of calm and started a series of negotiations with the young people to raise their awareness, because the situation is on the verge to degenerate.
• In this respect, a return to normalcy was noticeable in various parts of the town following the redeployment of security forces across the city.
