Bomb kills one, wounds many in Algeria

Two remote control bombs Sunday went off in the region of Lakhdaria (70 Km from Algiers) killing a soldier and wounding 5 others including a civilian.

• The first explosion occurred around 10.45 a.m wounding a truck driver and a car one.
• According to a witness, the bomb was targeting members of self defence in charge of the protection of pipeline, but the first explosion occurred before their passage, wounding a civilian in his shoulder.
• Three hours after the explosion, the second bomb went off 20 meters far from the first one wounding a fireman in addition to two security agents and a soldier.
