Bouncing back, President Bouteflika takes up again with diplomatic activity

President Abdellaziz Bouteflika, with his health condition seemingly picking up at best, received Monday in Algiers, Foreign Affairs Minister Ramtane Lamamra who presented the head of state with an overall assessment of the diplomatic activities of his ministerial department.

Mr Ramtane Lamamra also apprised President Bouteflika of the next bilateral and international questions linked to Algeria’s international relations.

In a statement to the press, Mr Ramtane Lamamra said that President Abdellaziz Bouteflika was still leading the Algerian diplomacy, stressing that things were going on smoothly in total conformity with the head of state’s guidelines and instructions.

He further indicated that President Abdellaziz Bouteflika was in good health and was keen to guide the Algerian diplomatic file up to the least detail, adding that the foreign affairs ministerial department was always acting on the basis of his instructions and guidelines for the sake of an utmost efficiency.
