President Bouteflika asked the Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, to give him assurances bout securing the good insurance of pilgrims.

Bouteflika said, in a meeting with the PM that it is necessary to give special attention to the visitors to the holy sites, as reported by the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Bouabdellah Ghulamallah, on Wednesday, at a meeting with representatives of the first group of the Hajj delegation composed of 235 members, who left homeland towards the holy sites, adding that the President Bouteflika is still in a period of convalescence and treatment, but he stressed on the good vouch for pilgrims.

Ghoulamallah explained that when the President asked the Prime Minister about the pilgrimage season and to ensure pilgrims, Sellal assured him, and the President Bouteflika asked him to give guarantees that confirm that pilgrims will not be neglected, and Sellal responded: “I trust the Minister and the Director of Cabinet,” says Ghoulamallah.

Ghoulamallah asserted, during the meeting that was held at the ministry headquarters in Hydra, the need to accompany the pilgrims in all the rites and not to neglect them by the performance of members of the rituals of Hajj mission instead of doing their job, threatening to take tough sanctions against defaulters.

The minister wondered about some of the practices by some members of the mission who ask for compensatory days on working days, by inviting them to contribute in the framing of the pilgrims.

“I will not accept any practice that hinders the good conduct of the pilgrimage season whatever it’s important, including the closure of mobiles during service. I will not allow the closure of any mobile phone until the end of the task of pilgrims’ vouch”.
