Bouteflika ready for the third term: Abdelaziz Belkhadem

President Bouteflika is not suffering from illness and can rule the country for a third term , Personal representative of the president Bouteflika, Abdelaziz Belkhadem say. 

• Confirmation by Belhkadem may put an end to speculations and interpretations which aim at disturbing the elections.
• Abdelaziz Belkhadem, also general secretary of the National Liberation Front (FLN) confirmed, “Bouteflika is able to run for the third term. The president like any other human being can be subjected to illness”.
• Belkhadem criticized attempt by some people who tried to invest in the president’s health, particularly in this time in order to stop those who aim at disturbing the elections.
• “Bouteflika, like the rest of the candidates, has no guarantees for his life”, Belkhadem added.
• Clarification by Belkhadem also represents a reply to the “unfair” statements by the French socialist senator, who visited Algeria, hosted president Bouteflika then spoke about his “good health situation”.
• Bouteflika’s agenda of electoral campaign reveals that he will organize most of the popular assemblies in the various regions. However, observers think that he is so tired and has no ability to obtain successful electoral campaign.
• In the mean time, French senator Samia Ghali said “I did not spoke about Bouteflika’s succession in the next 9 April elections. We discussed Bouteflika’s view and Algeria’s future”.
