Bouteflika to start his electoral campaign

Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is expected to start his campaign as a preparation for the April elections.  

• Leaders of the Alliance will oversee the popular meetings in the Algerian provinces according to a special calendar following Bouteflika’s announcement of his candidacy.
• The calendar will focus on five key concerns, including unemployment, reconciliation, health and education, as well as Agriculture. 
• “President Bouteflika will visit all the Algerian localities and attend the popular meeting which will be organized there. He preferred to meet with the voters in order to make new commitments”, PM, and FLN general secretary, Ahmed Ouyahia said.
• “Work that was recently prepared, presented a program for the preparation of the upcoming elections. It includes collecting signatures which will allow people to participate in the upcoming elections, and a special program for the campaign including organizing festivals in order to meet the largest number of people”, he added.
