Abdelmoumen khalifa will tomorrow appear before the judge Timothy Workman to discuss the Algerian request to extradite the former president of the giant group “Al Khalifa” in what has been labelled as the “century’s scandal”.

  • According to Algerian lawyers experts in the British legislation, the Westminster court will very much rely in its deliberation on a thorough study of the facts and charges lodged against Abdelmoumen Khalifa , who has been sentenced to life in his absence by the Algerian authorities last year.
  • To recall, the judge workman declared on April 18 at Westminster that tomorrow’s appearance before the court could be extended if necessary to June 3 and in case of a go ahead by the judge for the extradition of Khalifa to Algeria, this one has 10 days to appeal.
  • In declaration, Abdelmoumen Khalifa said that he as ready to appear before the judge starting from tomorrow, knowing that he was put in jail since March 27, 2007 following a European warrant of arrest issued against him by French authorities on charges of “ bankruptcy and fraud”, as well as money laundry .
