British intelligence confirms elimination of Al Qaeda’s coordinator in Europe

According to British intelligence, the Algerian Abu Slimane, killed in US air strikes in Pakistan last month, is a clear blow to “Al Qaeda” since the terrorist was considered as a close ally to the former Taliban’s defense minister Moulouy Abid Allah, .

• The terrorist was killed in air operation conducted by the US air forces using drones to target “Al Qaeda” strongholds. He was one of the active members of Al Qaeda cells based in Europe.
• According to the British “ The Observer”, the terrorist was killed in Damadoula operation, a small village located in the Afghan-Pakistani borders targeted twice  
• in the past.
• The same source revealed that the house in which the terrorist was found dead belonged to the former minister Moulouy Abid Allah and that children and women are count ed among the dead.
• CIA chief, Micheal Hayden has referred on Friday in the Washington Post to the killing of an Algerian and said that this was another defeat to “Al Qaeda” in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, adding that the terrorist organization is now on the position of defense rather than attack I Afghanistan and Pakistan.
• He also declared that “Al Qaeda” lost a strategic battle with the elimination of Abu Layth Al- libi last February.
