British Petroleum, one of the oldest and largest oil companies in the world is going to set up units for engine oil production in Western Algeria, Director in charge of business development at the company told journalists on Tuesday.
British Petroleum, one of the oldest and largest oil companies in the world is going to set up units for engine oil production in Western Algeria, Director in charge of business development at the company told journalists on Tuesday.
The unit will be established in Oran province (west of Algiers) to produce non-polluting engine oil which had been marketed in Algeria by the British company since 2001 after the explosion of cars sale market.
The British company had worked in Algeria in the 1950’s before it sold its stakes to the Algerian government in the 1960’s. In 1993, it came back to Algeria’s market and its investments reached $4.2 billion in the end of 2007.
