Cabinet Meeting: “President Bouteflika's decisions hailed by economic experts at Echorouk's Forum”

Taking the floor at Echorouk's Forum, Professor Abderrahmane Toumi, has hailed the decisions taken by the President of the Republic Mr Abdellaziz Bouteflika at a recent cabinet meeting held here in Algiers.

• He explained that the success of these procedures on the ground depended on the smooth implementation of an efficient strategy.

• Professor Abderrahmane Toumi called for the early adoption of a growth strategy based on the development of human resources and on a better exploitation of all the real-estate resources possessed by Algeria.

• All these important resources should be soundly and efficiently exploited, he said.

• He also pointed to the imperious necessity of ensuring a good exploitation of capital by spurring individual and collective initiatives likely to contribute efficiently to the working out of a local technological system without waiting for the exploitation of those state of the art technologies devised by the western countries.

• Professor Toumi further asserted that the government should now be attentive to he citizens’ concerns and aspirations by enforcing fair and just decisions.

• For his part, another distinguished guest of Echorouk’s Forum, namely Professor Abdelmadjid Bouzidi hailed the latest decisions taken by the head of state, Abdellaziz Bouteflika, as positive notably after the drafting of a roadmap to be used for a better exploitation of local financial resources in the projected reactivation in such sectors as industry, services and agriculture as well as in the professional integration of young jobless people.
