Captain Yazid Mensouri: “I’m proud of playing in the Best African Team”

Algeria’s team captain Yazid Mensouri said he is proud because the Desert Foxes got the title of the Best African Team, especially as it was before large African teams of a global level such as Ivory Coast and Ghana.

• Captain Yazid Mensouri asserted, during an interview with the website “Football.fr” that he is very happy after this title, and that he is proud of playing in Algeria’s team.
• Mensouri confirmed on the importance of the friendly match of Algeria’s team against Serbia, despite the Desert Foxes defeat, saying; “My team-mates were able to win during the second half. We have to benefit from errors”.
• “With the US and England teams, we have the opportunity to know many of the players, how and where they play, but Serbia’s team remains unknown to us. We should not underestimate any team, because we stood on that in the match against Malawi”.
• Captain Yazid Mensouri called on his team-mates to avoid loosing control as what happened in the Africa Cup against Egypt.
