Car bomb kills 8, wounds 19 in Algeria

The suicide car bomb which hit the town of Zemmouri in Boumerdes province (50 km east of Algiers) Saturday killed 8 and wounded 19, Algeria’s official APS news agency reported on Sunday citing a source at the Algerian Interior Ministry.

• The Algerian Interior Minister Nourredine Yazid Zerhouni accompanied with the commander of the National Gendarmerie Ahmed Boustila and General Director of National Security Department Ali Tounsi moved to Zemmouri and expressed condolences to the victims’ families.
