Chairman of Algerian Attorneys' Syndicate:''I'm not yet sure about Silini-Helali case''

Anwar Moustafa, in his capacity as Head of the National Union of the Organizations of Algerian lawyers, refused to comment on what is going on in the organizations of Algiers lawyers.
He confirmed in a phone conversation with Echorouk, that Algiers syndicate has its head, who is Abdelmadjid Cellini, the only person authorized to decide about the problems of lawyers, who are belonging to his organization, considering that every head is independent, adding that what happens in Algiers’ syndicate is an isolated act, which does not concern all the lawyers in Algeria.
In the same context, head of Algerian attorneys syndicate, Anwar Moustafa, refused to make any statement about the incident of insulting Sillini, before the judge Hilali Tayeb last Thursday, as he also apologized for presenting his position regarding the filing of a lawsuit against the chairman of the Bar in Algiers, by the judges who accuse him of insulting the committee of the Criminal Courtand the judge in a public hearing, saying; “I am not yet sure of the existence of a lawsuit against Sillini, and I have nothing to say in this regard, because it is not the right time.”
It is known that the conflict that occurred between Chairman Sellini Abdel Madjd, and the Criminal Court, made the Council of thelawyers in Algiers, calling for a day of protest and boycott the Judicial Council, last Sunday, condemned what they called thedangerous practice and repeated insults against the defense body, which are concerns that will present be raised by lawyers of the Bar of Algiers, in today’s special session of the General Assembly, which will be held at the headquarters of the General Union of Algerian Workers, where they will stand at the deterioration of the conditions of the exercise of the rights of defense litigantsseriously.
