CHAN-2011: Algeria stuns South Africa (2-0), go through to semifinals

KHARTOUM (Sudan)- Algeria A' qualified for semi-finals of the African Nations Football Championships (CHAN-2011) after defeating South Africa 2 to 0 (half-time 1-0) Friday in Khartoum.

The goals were scored by defender Adel Maïza at 44th minute on penalty, granted due a fool of the South African keeper Mokhasi on Djallit. The second one was scored by Metref (90+3′).

In the semi-final, scheduled for Tuesday, Algeria will encounter the winner from Tunisia-RD Congo match, to be played Saturday.
