Cheb Akil's brother: “Moroccan regime behind Cheb Akil's assassination”

Prosecutor of Meliana Court (Wilaya of Ain Defla, western Algeria), ordered, a few days ago, the removal of the dead body of the deceased young singer Cheb Akil from the cemetery of Sidi Abdelkader, and transferring it to the Forensic Medical Authority at the Hospital of “Makouar Hammou” for autopsy, in order to know the reasons that led to his death, after the artist’s family suspected the cause of his death resorting to the Algerian justice, news which was already published by Echorouk a few months ago.

In the first media statements by the brother of the late singer, he said that the whole incident still raises doubts among family, refuting the Moroccan story, and explaining that the incident may be premeditated, which was considered later by Moroccan media, as explicit and direct charges by the Moroccan regime to assassinate the young singer Akil, especially on the backdrop of his brother’s statement that the Moroccan authorities allocated a simple car to transport Akil, while the rest of the stars are transported in luxurious cars.

On the other hand, the musician Fathi Yahi, who accompanied Cheb Akil to the trip of death, and who was with him in the car when the accident occurred, decided to speak and attacked Akil’s family through his facebook page, accusing it of being crazy and inhuman, where he wrote: “Akil’s family is crazy  … It didn’t fear Allah.. Akil’s family members are inhuman…  Allah is the greater”.

Fethi refused to talk to Echorouk when we called him to inquire about his reaction to this offensive, especially as the removal of Akil’s dead body for autopsy is the only solution to put out the fire of suspicion among his family.

Previously, Akil’s family had suspected the report of the Royal Gendarmerie about the incident, especially since the statements of the musician Fathi Yahi, who is considered the “black box” of the incident, according to it, brought some of the contradictions in their entire, which reinforced suspicions among the family despite confirmation of Akil’s second wife that the incident is nothing more than just Allah decision and destiny.

Echorouk quoted reliable sources, two days ago, as saying that the family of the deceased had identified his body after the removal from the grave, confirming that the body of the “victim” did not rot significantly despite the passage of a long time since the burial.
