Civil servants on a 3 day strike
One million and 600,000 civil servants decided to go on a Sunday for 3 days, said a coordination of several trade unions in a joint statement. .

The Unions move is meant start a national strike until Tuesday after government refused to raise their wages and consider problems of basic laws in various sectors

Mr. Messaoud Amraoui, spokesman of the education workers trade union UNPEF says the strike was decided to protest against the government’s refusal to increase salaries in accordance with increasing expensive life. The trade unions also raise other claims pertaining to working conditions and organization.

The Education workers trade Union Unpef also called teachers allover the country to stop teaching for 3 days in support to the strike decision. The spokesman ruled out any decision to halt the movement. He accused rival unions of widespreading rumours.
