Cleaners, secretaries, waitresses represent FLN in Parliament
Several sources from within the National Liberation Front revealed that the party’s parliamentary group in the National People’s Assembly, includes 17-members who have the level of “cleaning lady” and dozens who did not obtain graduations, and considered this is a fatal blow to the credibility of the representation of the party in the lower house of parliament.
Echorouk sources explained that the parliamentary group of FLN, also includes “deputies who had very simple jobs, such as cleaners and wheels repairmen, waitresses in restaurants, staff and employees in the context of the social servics, and Secretaries ..” with appreciation and respect for these professions.
The sources attributed this phenomenon to a “state of confusion,” in the face of Belkhadem and his office during the preparation of lists of candidates, in which they adopted standards of loyalty and patronage and “money” in the elections, a substitute for “scientific competence and the struggle inherent,” says the source, who confirmed that the party won a large number of seats, and all the seats in some cities, like what happened in Sidi Bel Abbes (west of Algeria) and Oum Al Bouaki (east), contributed to the victory of some people who do not have qualification and experience required to the lower house of parliament.
The same sources added that: “The late classification of many of the competencies and the elites in the lists of candidates raised their anger, so they regained their files at a sensitive time, and this causes an emergency, and then Belkhadem did not find a way to solve sthis situation, but to fill the lists quickly with those who bring their file in exchange for money. “
The striking thing is that a lot of qualified people, topped the lists of other parties in the last legislative elections, but failed to get a seat in the Lower Chamber, reversing the logic that said “good products expel bad goods”.
The situation raised many questions among the observers to the Parliamentary Affairs, on the level of debate and the credibility of the legislation in the People’s Assembly, which classifies the responsibility of decisiveness in matters of great importance, in the forefront, reviewing the constitution in the second half of this year or the first half of next year, according to the words of the President.
