Coercive measures against customs officers at Algiers airport
The head of the foreign department of the Algerian customs proceeded to the revocation, and the transfer of some 60 customs officers working at Algiers international Airport.

Estimates show that in less than 18 months, starting from the year 2007 till the first semester of 2008, the manager has sanctioned more than 60 elements working at different departments of the airport.

According to sources, it is considered as the “major movement of change” resulted in the seizure of important sums of hard currency destined to be transferred abroad.
