Coordination for supporting Bouteflika's program to announce his candidacy for a fourth term or third term's extension

National Coordination for Supporting President Bouteflika’s program prepared a national meeting in Relizane, western Algeria, coinciding with the anniversary of the National Reconciliation on September, 21, informed sources told Echorouk.

The meeting aims to valuate Bouteflika ‘s program and what Algeria gained from the Charter for Peace and National Reconciliation, while the key underlined goal remained a secret, as Bouteflika’s supporters would use the date to call him to run for a fourth term or to extend the third term for additional two years.

Same sources added that famous political figures will be present and confirmed their participation in this date, which is an important opportunity for them to show their full support for Bouteflika, including the new Secretary-General of the National Liberation Front Party, Amar Saadani, and also leader of Tadj party, Amar Ghoul, and the leader of the Popular Movement Party, Amara Ben Younes, in addition to Miloud Chorfi, representative of the national Democratic Alliance, as they are the most well-known personalities that do not want to waste the opportunity to express their loyalty to the President.

According to the same sources, the meeting will serve as a boot to President Bouteflika, if he would express his willingness to run for the fourth term, in 2014 Presidential Elections, in order to avoid political controversy, and set aside the opposition of some parties, both in the center of the political class, or at the level of some decision-making centers. Or ask Bouteflika to postpone the presidential elections for two years, from April 2014 until April 2016, which is an extension of his third term, for a period of two years, stretching from April 2014, the date of expiry of the third term, to April 2016, in the next constitutional amendment.
