Cuba’s Ambassador to Algeria pays courtesy visit to Historical Wilaya Memorial Foundation
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the fourth Wilaya Memorial Foundation Monday and met the memorial chairperson Mr. Yusuf Al Khatib.
- In between the meeting, Mr. Al Khatib recalled on the close historical ties between Cuba and Algeria as well as the people of Cuba and Algeria, which date back to the Liberation War.
- He added that Cuba is now a powerful nation after the joining of many countries in South America to the Cuban positions on many issues.
- The Ambassador of Cuba is to visit Tissemsilt, 350 kilometers south western Algeria in the next few days. The visit is meant to examine a number of historical sites in that city and consolidate the ties between the two brotherly nations.
