Customs inspector involved in Algeria Police station bombing
Indictment chamber at a court in Algiers has recently ended the investigation on the case of police station bombings in Thenea, Boumerdes (50 km east of Algiers) which claimed 3 lives.

Examining magistrate charged 25 persons including a customs inspector at Algiers port. He is prosecuted for his involvement in facilitating the passage of the car which had been used in the bombing. Leader of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC) Abdelmalek Droudkel is accused as well with the group’s spokesman S.K for being the bombing supervisors, Echorouk has learnt.

According to some investigations, driver A.T, 49, paid a sum of money as a bribe through a mediator to the port customs inspector in Algiers. He helped them illegally passing their Ford car from abroad while 2 terrorists were in charge of monitoring and checking the place of the explosion.

Until now, the suicide bomber behind that attack has not been identified.
