Dangerous terrorist reveals Salafit Group hideouts

Security forces in the province of Boumerdes (50 kms from Algiers) aborted an important terrorist operation due to be carried out in the capital city Algiers as well as Boumerdes.

• Explosive devices were recovered in a well-hidden place at the “Aissi” river in the region of Boumerdes, while the combing operation conducted by the military troops is still underway.
• The military operation comes following the arrest of a dangerous terrorist who goes by the name “ B. Haroun” from the district of Bach Djerrah ( Algiers suburbs). The man was on top of the list of the most wanted terrorists by the Algerian security forces.
• He led the investigators to two caches where explosive devices were stored; the hidden places were most likely used as laboratories to fabric hand made bombs. Following these revelations, a large scale combing operation was conducted by military troops who recovered an important quantity of agriculture and chemical products used for the explosives.
