Algerian embassy in Damascus confirmed on Saturday, in a phone conversation with Echorouk, the news of the killing of two young Algerians in Al Ghouta, after an air strike on the outskirts of the Syrian capital.

The official source – refusing to reveal on his identity- said that the two young men were killed a week ago or more, but the family informed the embassy just three days ago. The two Algerian born in Syria are cousins from an Algerian family, a family that is very scattered in Syria from “the descendants of Emir Abdelkader.”

The source added in the same context that, “in light of the difficult conditions in Syria, the two young Algerians Ziad and Fouad, 22 years were the victim of a bombing, as their family announces their death after burying their bodies in the area of Zabdin in Al Ghouta city.”

The head of the Algerian community in Syria told the website Tous sur l’Algerie “all about Algeria” that 2500 Algerians left Syria, adding that the Council does not have any information about the orientation and location of their residence in Algeria; “no one knows where they were gone because they did not contact the council, and probably they resorted to relatives after they were unable to take advantage of the housing or just like the aid granted to the Syrians. “
